What makes a Billy ID this breed/mix

Here is a picture of my friends dog Billy.

Any guesses as to what is in the mix?

I would guess at gsd crossed with a gsd x or perhaps gsd crossed with a collie x . Whatever Billy's parentage he's gorgeous

Billy has a strange background as he comes from a GSD to GSD mating. His litter consisted of 4 black and tan and 3 whites. When the bitch had finished whelping the owner settled her down for the evening but in the morning came down to find she had another pup - Billy.

Father, and quite how it happened, unknown but with his colouring and coat I'm inclined to agree with Claire & Daisy and go for Rough Collie (unless he is somehow a throwback to merle colouring? Not even sure if this is possible).

I don't know about mixes or what they produce, all I can say is he is georgous!!!!!!
