    Oh dear...
I suppose it's inevitable really though. The person (probably a 'dummy") probably googled Malamute GSD cross and got a NI website... Thought Ah so that's what you call this sort of cross....

Probably thinks it's no different from 'Malapherd' or 'German Shepamute'

Too be honest the results from this mating probably look much the same as many example of NI anyway. Most I have seen look like GSD crosses although some of them were no doubt NI x NI they do all look different and the thing that strikes you is the fact that they all have GSD in their make up.

Realise my opinion is formed by what I have seen and others may have seen a roomful of NI that look like one another but I have not.

I agree with Jackie, I expect they do look like a lot of NI's.

Given the fact that no one actually knows whats in an NI who is to say whether he is right or wrong

He certainly looks like he has the bone of a Mal..NI's don't have bone like a Mal does (which is one of the reasons I don't think there is any mal in NI)

Infact, I haven't seen any NID puppy pics that look like this puppy.

Thats because they don't have the bone of a Malamute..

Never seen an NI with such neat ears but it is far too early to say and many things can change between this young pup and a 9 month old dog.

Its probably because the NI has GSD in them, they tend to feature the GSD more IMO.

Maybe, but as GSD X Mal pups, these puppies don't resemble the GSD, IMHO.

These are advertised as "gsd x Husky" very "NI" would you agree?

    Hi,

As someone who knows absolutely nothing about these dogs, if they all have GSD in their genetic make up, then between huskies, malamutes and GSDs, wouldn't they all look slightly different anyway?

Plus, a pup so young (who is absolutely gorgeous I might add) surely would change it'sphysical appearance, colouring, bone structure etc as it grows up wouldn't it?

Sorry for sounding so dense, but I know about GSDs and Akitas - that's about it!

    Laura xx

The first two lots of pup pics don't look like any NI pups I have seen, but the ones Dawn has posted do look a bit more like them.

Mind you my dogs parents don't look like NI's either..... and they are!

Yes Dawn, I agree and the top one would be my choice if I had to choose one and simply from a pic xxx

Here is a litter pic, lovely pups but I still maintain that it does not look like a NID litter, IMHO:

Dense? You are SPOT on! Thats why there is no consistency in type or temperament in the NI.
