Good afternoon. We are seriously considering getting a Cane Corso mix puppy. I do have experience with larger breeds of dog (Rottweiler/Dane mix). This would be my first Mastiff mix. I have done some research and the common themes are socialization and obedience training. Could you give me advice or tips regarding this? Thank you
My advice would be to enrol in a very good, positive puppy class. Go along to as many as you can in your area prior to getting your pup as a spectator to see if they are what you are looking for and talk to the trainer. Avoid any that use aversive methods and who let the pups run wild
