Today's second one has just happened - and I sincerely hope it is the last. About an hour after I got up this morning I realised that my bangle was not on my wrist. It is an oval one that is hinged one side and has a do-up clip the opposite side. The only place it could be was in my bed and sure enough that was where it was. The second thing means I am now wearing three odd earrings. I am actually wearing four but the top one in each lobe is very small, and I wear dangly ones in the lower hole. Not long ones, not big ones, but still dangly ones. And one of the dangly ones fell in the sink just after I had washed up. The clip thingy at the back had somehow unclipped itself and when I tried to put it back in and do it up it would not fasten. So I have taken one of my odd earrings [well, if one in a pair breaks or falls out and gets lost there is no point in chucking the other one away, is there?] and have put that in. Nothing wrong with looking a bit odd, after all. I am not superstitious but I still keep thinking of the saying that things come in threes...
I do not wear toe rings! Actually although I have a collection of [finger] rings - all very inexpensive gold-plated with CZs - not solid gold or real stones, I hasten to add, I rarely wear them. The dangly earrings are only gold-plated as well although the tiny ones I wear are actually gold [with tiny CZs in them]. Bangle also plated and not solid. And the third thing did not happen that day!
Whatever I now have is just as expensive as yours. I find toe rings very uncomfortable but I do have one buried in a drawer somewhere.
