There's some sick b###ards about (Warning: contains graphic image)

Just read about that poor dog in Peterborough UK with a crossbow in his skull, why are there so many sick b###ards about, that poor dog must of been in pain yet was still so friendly.

Such a gorgeous dog - Tina you are far more polite than I would be in describing whoever did it as a sick b###ard.

And I know exactly where I would like to put a crossbow bolt through that blank blank blank.

    Poor Ziggy :(

Hope they catch whoever is responsible - shouldn't be too difficult I doubt there are many people buying/selling those crossbows in the UK.

Possibly more than you think Azz - there have been a number of reports of swans being found with crossbow bolts through them.

Words fail me, this is an absolute disgrace I can't believe someone has done this to this poor defenceless dog.

Tragically there are people who do far worse. The "lucky" dogs in those cases are the ones who die, even though they may die in agony. At least it is then over for the poor dogs, and usually very quickly

The "unlucky" ones who do not die and then suffer the results for the rest of their lives, however long or short that might be.

Many of the news alerts I get coming in for News Articles on Dogsey are just too sickening to think about, so I will not post them. But I cannot "tweak" the news alerts so I have to read the good, the bad, and the downright sickening.

I want Ziggy he's one super happy doggy.

It always amazes me how dogs don't hold grudges & they still love humans even when they been abused by horrible sick humans.

He's a gorgeous dog. I wonder how long it will be before he can be rehomed?
