Yesterday was the village party which is held once a year. Friends and relations of everyone who lives in the village are welcome and everyone is given lunch ... I chose goulash, but could have had paprika cabbage with liver sausage or a thick fish soup instead followed by loads of gooey cakes and pastries!. After lunch we were all entertained to a couple of hours of traditional Hungarian folks songs and dancing which I always love to watch! I took some photos of the dancing for you all to see. I'm sorry they aren't better but trying to press the button to take the snaps with a broken wrist was painful and I could only manage to do it when I was.sitting down!
Looks really interesting Barbara... funnily enough, my favourite 'Clives Pies' is the Hungarian Goulash flavour
Forget the Goulash - the gooey cakes and pastries would have suited me fine! What a wonderful place it looks, with good community spirit.
