The Real Danger in Pit Bulls

Well besides intestinal fortitude that can peel paint from the walls...their big ol' hard heads. Callie regularly opens our back door head first and I don't think he feels a thing. Perhaps several hours later "Hum? Hey that hurts d'oh". But I ran into him accidently earlier today...with my knee. He didn't change expression but I apologized for bumping him. And now that knee feels like a baseball. I have to be on my feet for work tomorrow. Trying cold compress, then hot if that doesn't work.

Yeah been there many times. Bruises and all. Some do zoomies and can clip you that hurts. Hopefully your knee is going to feel better by morning. I think doing cold then hot might help. I've heard doing both is best?

Wooof have to leave for work in 10 minutes, is is not going to be fun. The zoomies will get you. I remember hanging wash in the yard one summer day and they were playing tag. I think it was Sophie that time. Smaller head n' less muscled but I saw stars for a couple seconds. Then my leg was funny for a week. Crazy dogs

Let me assure you Pit Bulls are not the only dogs who are a danger to life and limb. One day it started to rain and I dashed to get the washing off the line with Sorrel our Lab in hot pursuit. I stopped ... she didn't ... and I landed on my backside with a resounding thud. I broken my coccyx and spent the next three months sleeping on my stomach and climbing up and down the stairs on my hands and knees! Small dogs can be pretty lethal as well as I found out many years later, when I tripped over my 9 pound Tibetan Spaniel and end up with a badly sprained wrist!

Hope you feel better soon ... have you tried rubbing your knee with Arnica oil ... works wonder with bruises and sprains?

Cats are some of the most dangerous too. Falls down stairs thanks to cats trying to commit murder.
