    I do perfer a GSD with a straight back rather then the sloping back.

    All my GSD's had a straight backs.

    i didnt fully understand the article but i dont like the look of the sloped back, in my eyes it makes them look deformed. But maybe it just because a straight back is the norm in both humans and animals so its what were used to seeing.

    Must say I prefer the older style GSDs too, especially the slightly smaller ones.
