Skye (my old boy) eating again. Vet's Kitchen / Naturo

Skye (16) has been has been off his food for months and it's been a real battle to keep him eating to retain his body weight.

When i say 'off' his food he's just not been that interested. Sometimes he will get extra tasty left overs added and he'll turn his nose up. Other days he we wolf anything down.

Anyway - I've been gradually trying (it takes time to try and switch / test) everything from the most expensive dog food to the most expensive human food) over the last few months and this week we seem to have nailed it.

    Vet's Kitchen - BANG

I've settled on the 'Senior 7+ Years' (Salmon & Brown Rice) - he can't get enough.

I've got his 'staple diet' sorted but once or twice he's been distracted but I've also discovered 'Naturo' which is a 'meat' pack that mixed in gets us a clean bowl.

Nice to hear he's got his appetite back Phil - just out of interest what foods did you try him on?

Poor old Skye, I am pleased you have found something he will eat Phil.
Many elderly dogs enjoy a sardine :)

That must be a big relief to you - long may his appetite continue.
