    Skin irritation around left eyes, hairloss

    Hi All-
    I have a beautiful 4mo old female GSP puppy, recently I have noticed hair loss around her eye balls..... Any help would be appreciated?

    Welcome to the forum.
    I would see a vet - delaying with eyes is too risky. Years ago I had a Golden Retriever puppy which had a bald patch under one eye - that was diagnosed as a puppy mange, and cleared up fairly quickly. However, it is always possible that there could be a problem with the eyelids, so it is much better to let a vet diagnose.

    Thanks Carole, just got back from the vet.... It's Demodectic Mange, they have prescribed her oral formula for 14 days, I hope that will be all that she needs to overcome this:(
