My 7 year old has a torn Achille. we have nursed it for over a year.. Vet believes it is completely torn now. She keeps re-injuring..this time it seems damaged for good. I have given her anti inflammatory drugs and pain when she hurts it and tried to keep her down as best as possible. Anyway, surgery is going to be over $5000 and there is no way I can afford it. I made a little sling so she doesn't have to hold it up, but it doesn't stay on. I order a brace but it doesn't fit her funny leg. Their legs are not really straight. Anyway, just wondering if anyone had had this problem and knew of a brace that would work for this breed with wonky legs?
