Hi I absolutely love sight hounds and have owned them for 40 odd years. As I only have rescue dogs there are some breeds I have never had but out of the different types I've had my favourites have ,so far, been deerhound and borzoi. I also had an incredible deerhound/greyhound girl who shared my life for 16 years My salukis are less biddable than any other hound I've had but are extremely nice creatures to have about the place. They certainly teach you patience as their recall is virtually non-existent unless they are ready to go home!! Finally my little lurcher (grey/whippet/collie) 16 yrs old and adorable if a little grumpy!!
They are beautiful, I am also a hound lover, I had afghans for 20 years, it was between afghans, salukis or borzois, and have owned basenjis since 1988.

Saluki are my favourite, i have a saluki cross bitch ad a greyhound bitch. I would love a tri coloured feathered saluki like yours he/she is stunning !
Oooooooh I love pointy dogs My Mo was a Grey/Saluki cross and I adored her. She was gentle, patient and loving. I would love a full tri Saluki but we only ever rescue and have whatever comes along.

I love salukis - guy I know with one lives in eternal despair of people referring to it as a "fluffy greyhound" though!
Lovely pictures of your beautiful Saluki.Many years ago I had a Silver Grizzle saluki and he got on really well with all my Borzoi,I think all sighthounds enjoy each others company,would love to have one again
