i love rotties. even after all the bad press I am still hoping to get one soon. how many rottie owners on dogsey ?

Hi Donkey,Lorraine here.I have two and absolutely adore this breed,they are awesome.Great to hear you haven't been put off them with all the bad publicity :smt041 :smt041 :smt041 they aren't for everybody as they take up a lot of your time.If they are bred correctly,cared for and nurtured properly they make fab pets.Like any dog you only get out what you put in. Here are my two minxes, Kizzy 3yrs and my wee soul mate, She is smaller than average but she makes up for that with loadsa luvvin for her mum,xxxxxxxx This is Asta,she is my wee star .She is my show dog and is doing fab in the ring being placed in the top 3 in all but 1 show.She has such a lovely nature and is learning all the time.She is just a baby at 1yr.Her name means shines like a star and thats just what she does. Hi Ricky Megan here, I own one called Kodi, he's our first rottie and is a lil sweetheart. He's been so much easier compared to our border collie He is shown and has got a few 3rds and 4ths. We will also (if I can find any shows) be competing in Obedience in the not to distant future. And we will also be trying some agility, once he's old enough Heres some pics for you;-) just under 6 weeks About 3/4 months 3/4 months 8 months Will try and get a newer pic of him tonight as he is now 10 months
Hi Donkey, I own 5 rottweilers, or is it they own me? I currently own the Darcguard Rottweiler affix, have had two litters to date, all of which im very proud of, nero and boobahs dogs are from my breeding, but here are my lot, This is royce, he is my oldes dog, he has diabetes now so lives a quiet life, no more shows, or demos, just kicks back and muches bones all day lol this is tegan, I mated tegan and royce who are the parents of holly and vinnie,, this is vinnie, he is our resident loony, he is now 17 months old, this photo was taken just before he was one year old, Hes trying to look cleaver in this one,,,not falling for it though,,,lol this is the normal vinnie,,,see what I mean,,loony, class one this is holly, sister to vinnie, she is the opposite of vin, takes life very seriously,,,shes currently working on world domination,,,, this is the star of the kennel, resident good guy, my pride and joy,,,KAOS, shona x

Hi Ricky, I've got 4 of them just now, I've had rotties for 17 years, great breed, train them early and you'll have no probs. ;-) Mea, and her two sons, Nero and Caesar. Nero, "geis a hobnob will ya". Caesar boy, "did I hear the word hobnob" ? Nero, "yep, you did". ;-) Mea, They were blood donors last year. Nero, they can be a bit slobbery. Smeags, the baby of the family, she's 19 months old now.
lol at me, smeags is two months older than her bro and sis, my post should have read,,,,vinnie and holly are a year and seven months, not 17 months,,,
WOW, that's some slobber from Nero!! None of mine were ever droolers, funny huh? They are all gorgeous
Aha, now I see how Smeags and co are related! I have been wondering actually! ;-) Shona, Is Kaos related to the rest of the Darcquard clan in any way? Just interested. Although I own a Westie and a small crossbreed, Rottweilers are a breed I really admire.
I know ya said Shona but I believe that Kaos is related to Tegan, who is Holly, Vinnie and Smeags mum and Kaos is dad to Nero, Caesar and Kizzy (same litter) and to Asta but different litter from Nero, Caesar and Kizzy. Think that's all right;-) lol If I'm wrong Shona, then sorry, Kodi will give you some kisses if I am;-)
No problem;-) Just to confuse you more, having just looked at the ped's, Kaos and Tegan are also related to my Kodi lol, 3/4/5 generations back Which means that Kizzy/Asta/Nero/Caesar/Smeags/Holly and Vinnie are also related to Kodi, but then 4/5/6 generations back
lol I know, It all gets a bit confusing... and we didnt even realise til we had him that he was related to all of them lol I have so far been able to search back quite a few years to 1908 on some of the dogs... well thats if the thing I'm using is reliable lol
