well jus thought id do a quick update to how there getting on,, as you know lol,(coz i cant shut up he he ) i got Mikey last tuesday to beguin with,i picked him up from owners at time,and walked him every night with my sbt Bash,,,,up untill thursday, anyway,,didnt like mikey to much to start with,,teeth the works,,,not nice,,, but as the days progressed,bash got used to his smell as i let mikey everywhere in the house,,and then thursday,,i had the call,of either have him at the wk end or hes going cats and dogs home!!!!!!!!!!!. that was it!! hubby sent me to get his cage and his doggy bits,,,,, he was home!!!!!!! since then,,they have both been great,,weve been on the moors,,through shaugh prior woods. tavistock,,,everywhere lol,, i still dont let them play unsupervised tho,,,better to be safe then sorry, both are due to be castrated this month,mikeys not 6 months old till then,,and Bash,,well we never got him done as there really was no reason,,,untill now,,with humping,,its not too bad now,,but hopefully it will get better,,, so today,,there out playing,,hubby is on watch,,and taking pics of them lol,,, Mikey follows me everywhere,which is nice,,as Bash is hubbys dog,, so far so good,,,,,,,,,,,,,i love my dogs,,happy dogs = happy home thanks for reading sorry its ssssooooooo long lol Eve x
I am so happy it's all going well for you all!! It can be a nightmare when introducing dogs to each other, but when you get it right, you have happy dogs!! He is really lucky you came along when you did, otherwise who knows what would've happened to him, bless him.
ah thankyou,,thats really nice of you, ive had horses,and the best way to introduce them is gradually,,,thats why i did the same with my dog and the puppy,,,and thankfully it worked out sooooooo well,,, thanks again eve x
