Question - Do two males get on?

I have been offered a staffy from a friend of a friend. Male Staffy. I have turned it down at the moment.

My question is this, I have been told previously that two male staffy's will not get on at all unless brought up together.

    Is this true?

Have a look at the staffie rescue site, they'll be people on there that'd know for sure...
I'm at the moment trying to introduce my daughters dog into my enviroment cause i will be looking after him when she goes on holiday, a male rott, i have a male northern inuit who is quite happy to accept him but my ebt is another story, just does not like him in her space at all, it may have something to do with bull breeds protecting their own x
It is a bull trait not to accept other dogs into their home...they are fine out side walking together but a different story at home. x

Its just like all breeds of of dogs 2 males may not get on and 2 females may not get on, why is it that its only ever said 2 male staffs will never get on when thats not true I know loads of people that have 2 males intact and they get on great just like any other dogs

The only thing that will affect 2 males is if they both what to be dominant, or plainly either one doesn't like other dogs in their personal space.

Best way to see if they will like each other is take them for a walk together to get them used to each other before taking them back to your house as your dog may feel freatened
