Ahem . Step 1 . Fill an old dishwashing liquid bottle with lemon bleach and keep it handy ! Fore armed is um , fore warned . step 2 . place news paper on wet spot to soak up most of the mess.when done in the bin. step 3. take wet mop , With dishwashing bottle full of lemon scented bleach - point and squirt ! Mop ! Mop ! that’s it ! step 4 . Stand back admiring new smell , wondering how amazing to have one super bleached clean spot on the floor! (No don’t be silly and try it on the carpet or similar ) step 5. rinse and repeat until one day the pissing stops ! ( immediately rinse mop so the bleach doesn’t eat the mop away, it’s strong stuff, keep off clothes rinse hands. could also water down the bleach to begin , could be a good idea. the handy point and squirt dishwashing bottle really is the hero of this story . I’m sure other people have their methods , this is the best I’ve found that makes things easier.
Thanks , I can see where this could become a problem Chris. I use a very wet mop , and live in the hot north , where things dry quickly most of the time.
Actually I should also mention I like to wash the mop out under the outside tap . this way there is no need to continually fill a mop bucket with water and then need to re empty it . in this way it lessens the burden and ability of dealing with it so I can get back to what I am up to.
