Hi Everyone! I'm new here and thought I'd reach out to fellow weim owners. Our girl is a year and a half and has had some health issues already. Our vet is amazing but they don't see weims that often, so I thought I'd reach out and see if maybe this is breed related at all. Just the other day her pupils were different sizes (see attached image). She was getting a treat and one dilated and the other didn't. It stayed like this for a bit but then went back to normal. The one that didn't dilate has been bothering her on and off. Sometimes she can't even open that eye and other times she's completely fine. Has anyone ever experienced this? Thanks in advance!
Hello K.Buckley, and welcome to the forum.I'm sorry you have had health problems with your young Weimeraner. I really don't think this is a breed specific problem though. Please see your vet and be sure to take this photo with you. Perhaps you could come back and let us know the result.
Thanks for the response Carole! I didn't think so but wanted to check. She's the best and we love her, but poor girl has had some issues. I will definitely give an update when we find out!
