Ok my gf just sent me a pic saying my dog akita almost 5 months old lost a tooth at first I was like ok probably a puppy tooth then she sent me the pic and I was like thats kinda big for a puppy tooth and am kinda bothered by it my gf says he isn't bleeding or anything
Yes, that looks like a baby canine tooth - that is one of the longer corner ones at the front. Perhaps a little early, but probably has come away on a tuggy or a chew. Perfectly normal, his big boy tooth will appear soon.
Yes that's a milk tooth different breeds have different size milk teeth. I have lots of milk teeth from all of my past & present dogs & when I put one of my previous Rottweiler milk teeth next to one of my JRT's milk tooth, there is quiet a difference in size.
