All I did was stand up to go to the toilet & my ankle just went over, now I got an half cast & Velcro boot on ankle (can't have full cast being diabetic) spent 6 hours in A&E yesterday & 3 more hours waiting for Dr to confirm ankle was broken after having x-rays, I then still at to go back today as they close the A&E at 9pm on Sunday's, so spent another 2 & half hours today in A&E waiting for ankle to be put in half cast & to have an Velcro boot fitted.
Sorry to hear this Tina. I hope you have got all your men organised into caring for you and the pack. Hope it's not too painful, and you get well soon.
Why they didn't give me a knee walker instead of these useless crutches I never know, as been told NOT TO WALK on left foot only walk on Right foot yeah right, am looking at renting or even buying an knee walker or seat walker. knee walker seat walker
Sorry to hear about the ankle .... make sure those men of yours spoil you! Are you sure you didn't break your ankle because you were jealous of Georgina's poorly paw? If so you needn't have gone to all that length ... an ingrowing toe nail would have done just as well!
Enquired about the knee & seat walkers prices start from £59 plus vat, have asked my carer to order me one of each type on testing only (carer being my brother) with view of buying one of them.
