Opinions on whether my Beagle is mixed with another breed? Photos

He's a working beagle, definitely with two beagle parents but was just wondering if you think there are any other breeds along the line in him? And if so which breeds? He's quite tall-when I measured him around 19.5cm but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, and he has all the typical characteristics of a beagle. Here are some pics:

A cross i would say ,,head shape and muzzle is different ..

What did you get him as ??

I used to walk a Harrier hound and people thought he was a Beagle cross...

As a beagle, both his parents were clearly beagles and when we went to puppy and dog training the guy who runs is is a hound/gun dog expert who goes on crufts and stuff and he said he was a really nice looking beagle and didn't think he was that mixed! Harriers are lovely dogs, nicer looking than the 'show' beagle I think

Their are a few Beagle owners on here ,they will know better than i ...lol

Is there a working line beagle that differs to the short dome headed show type /?

This is my first time on here so I wouldn't know how to ask them! Do you know how? Yes I think so, as if you look at farm beagles they look similar to him and I bought him from a farm

They look quite different to show beagles, much more similar to smaller Harriers.

Your's looks midway between the two types, maybe a working/show cross? So still a beagle but from two different types?

He certainly doesn't look pure show type, but that doesn't mean he isn't pure beagle.

There is a thread going back a while about someone who bought a beagle pup and when it grew they thought it was a harrier .....
