    One Man & His Dog

The 2005 OMHD programmes will both be shown on BBC2 on December 17th.
The Heats (Part 1) will go out at 1550, and the Finals (Part 2) at 1750.
On the second programme there's a short tribute to the fact that it's
thirty years since the start of One Man & His Dog.
Programme 2 also contains two newcomers in their first ever competition.
The three teams this year are: Ireland, England, Scotland.
It's a tense finale to the finals.

More news: 2006 will see the production of a DVD and video
Thirty Years of One Man & His Dog.
This will be a look back through the programme archives,
and it is planned to include the five best ever runs.
Work will start on this project in January, and all being well it will be
    issued at Easter.

I used to prefer the Grampian trials as they were the real Sheepdog trials(Novice)without all the editing & reruns of OMAHD so that they cut out any really bad bits.

I watched a few of them being filmed after the Internations & instead of 20 mins per run it sometimes took a lot longer to get a presentable run. I used to play a watch the change of sheep & cut & edit when they showed the"complete" runs

I do hope the"fat"lady isn't in the program she really gets up my nose

BTW I have run a dog at trials & he was far better than me at it ;-)

LOL Joedee. I am training my collie with the hope that we may one day be good enough to run at a trial, and already he is far more natural at it than me (no surprise there though!)
