Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever General Chat

One of my colleagues is getting a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever , just looked them up on Google, such sweet looking dogs, I love the red colour. Can't wait to see their puppy pics xxxx

They are great dogs in the right hands WW. They can be a bit work oriented (as you would expect) but kept busy they are FAB!!!

A breed I like too, looking forward to some pictures if possible ;-)

I have only met one and he was absolutly lovely. So gentle with Tonks, she was just over four months at the time, and really friendly and intelligent.

They collect him tomorrow, so I will be pestering for pics next week and I wil ask if I can post some on here too xxx

Have met quite a few doing a variety of 'jobs' now as they are on my wish list for the future. Agree with what Borderdawn said about them. Lovely dogs
You will have to watch out for the 'scream' that tollers are known for;-)

The one I met was adorable, but bonkers. I have grown to expect that from gundogs though...

I saw Timber doing the demo at Blenheim in July. Im sure I got a few pics of him in action, will pm them you if can sort them out.

Looby Loo - I do heelwork to music with Timber (just starting out really) and have also done some agility with him.

My husband does gundog work with both the boys. They are both part of the Toller Gundog Display Team.

Sue - I would love to see the photos if you could send them. Was it the display at CLA in the blistering sunshine in July? Timber did really well in the scurries there and won lots of prizes We've invited to do quite a few displays next year as various events. Please say hi if you see us again.
