I thought it was England Wait if NewZealand Prime Minister is backing them then perhaps our English Prime Minister will do the same.
Lets face it our PM wouldn't have the b#lls to do something like that. No Chance Lets face it our PM wouldn't have the b#lls to do something like that.
Yes, I came up with the story about New Zealand. Except that first I googled 'Prime Minister Firewood Ban' and lots of articles about things like deforestation came up, which puzzled me till I realized what I'd done!
they already have a kind of ban over there. they cant use them any time of year. there can use only on bonfire night (if they even celebrate that) and new year. I think thats about it. Im sure my cousin said they can only have fireworks for about 6 days of the year. not october to january like they do here.
We only have fireworks here after a wedding - once the bride and groom are pronounced married - and then just a short burst of them. I do not think that fireworks are permitted at any other time and have never seen any for sale.
We had the biggest prolonged fireworks noise ever today. At about 4pm we had the first volley, then a 5min gap then another one started. Everyone was out asking what was going on - we turned on the local radio, and everyone was asking about the explosions on there too. By this time there had been another volley, and Cheshire Fire Service had contacted Radio Stoke to say that it was a, 'planned destruction of illicit fireworks', and there would probably be more tomorrow. The disposal was taking place in a field near Alsager where there was no nearby housing, (but there is a boarding/Beagle breeding kennel in that area). I believe it was heard as far away as Cheadle (Staffs). @katygeorge Did you get it too?
Cant say i heard a thing Carole and Phoebe didnt make a peep. But windows are closed and hubster is half deaf so tv is pretty loud.
