I think I have finally found harnesses that I am happy with, k9's harness is fleece lined & is well away from his front legs & don't slip round his body like his old ones did, (not now hubby as tighten straps up) Have given Zeus & Kobi K9's old harnesses. Skye, Ziva & Dottie now have mesh harnesses which look bit more comfortable for them then the strap type harnesses
I have always used harnesses even on my Rottweiler's, GSD's & Doberman's but back then there were only leather one available, I do love the fleece ones but next time will get ones with extra D ring on chest for id tag to go on
I think the newer (padded) ones look a lot more comfortable, and with the problems some dogs get in their necks, I feel it is probably the safer option Yep, definitely get one with a D ring for the tag
I always used harnesses on my Griffons - it was possible to get very soft leather ones in small sizes back then. But they also always wore a collar with their ID tag on. Little One used to wear a soft woven harness and collar [I still have them in a bag at the bottom of my wardrobe] as did Pereg when a puppy, but now she wears a padded harness with a matching collar for all her ID tags, as in my avatar. She has a red set and a purple set.
They look very snazzy. Love your leads too. Where did you get them from? My Missy has a pink polka dot harness from puppia. Had it years now, and we rarely use it lol
I got the leads from Viovets they are horse lead ropes but I use them as dog leads as the clip can't come undo like some of the dog trigger clip leads.
