I figured my soon to be addition coukd use her own photo thread. So I have a fun way to keep track of how she grows and changes. The owner of the dam/mother dog took these pictures. She is about 4 weeks old in these. I am still not 100% decided on a name. I really like Ophelia. But also am a big fan of the name "Necile" rhymes with Cecile . This way I could also call her "Seelie" for short. Both a play on fairy/folklore since my 6 year old chi/yorkie is named Fae. I like a theme lol.
Thanks you guys! I am so beyond excited for this little girl. The end of December really cannot come fast enough lol. I love that the lady who has the mom and pups is so nice about sharing pictures pretty regularly. It's so cool to see her develop. When I brought Kylo home at 8 weeks old, he had a totally flat coat. No hints of scruffiness etc. Clearly as you can see in my avatar now at 2 years old, he has gone through a lot of physical changes. Definitely expect an over abundance of puppy pictures once the new girl is home. I gotta record that puppyhood. It goes so fast!
Here is a pic sent to me today of my girl, enjoying some quality time with "momma". Pic quality is not great but her cuteness shines through.
Did the mother only have two puppies? They will miss each other, but will have lots of cuddles to compensate. Two lovely contented babies.
