Well, it's hard to believe, but my little guy turned 6 months old. Hard to believe since it seems like only a month ago I picked him up when he was 9 weeks old. And today he just got dropped off at the vets to be fixed. :-( I thought about this for some time, and seeing that he is a pure breed and I could breed him, my intend was for a loving family companion. To which he has passed with flying colours so far. I know that it's a simple procedure and all that, but I can't help but feel sad today to know he's there while I am work today.
Well it's been 3 days since his surgery and he seems to be back to normal (minus the small stitched incision). He was a bit groggy the night he was picked up, but by morning, he seemed to get his routine back to normal. Luckily he hasn't gone for his stitches too much so they are healing over quite nicely. I also got the microchip done at the same time while he was "under". Cannon is back!
Oh what an absolute little treasure, how did I miss this!!! So glad he's got over his little op and running you ragged once more!
Oh I missed this too, same story my boy turned 6 months nearly three weeks ago and we have had him since he was 9 1/2 weeks old, the time has flown by. Glad to hear he is on the mend, by boy was done 11 days ago, and got over it really well we had to keep him quiet which for a springer was surprisingly easy.
So glad he was ok with surgery. He is just a little cuddly teddy bear and absolutely gorgeous. Can you airmail him to me? I will pay postage.
Gorgeous boy and I know the time must fly by. He is such a beautiful boy and I am glad all went well at the vets. Sorry for missing this post earlier, sending cuddles to Cannon and I am sure you'll have plenty more happy times with him. He looks so cuddly, I so want a cuddle with him! Rose x
