As well of having 6 Dogs I have 3 cats also a ginger tom called Comet who I rescued when he was 14 weeks old, a tabby She cat called Rosiemay we got her from the cat protection & lastly there's my other tom cat Billy Bob we rescued him, after finding out he was sleeping outside under a brick BBQ in the snow at Christmas. Rosiemay & Comet on top with Billy Bob underneath Rosiemay Comet Billy Bob Comet & Ziva All my cats live outside in a cat pen in garden during summer & go out during day if find over the winter months, in the pen we have 6 foot shed with shelves on for cats to sleep on, 5 climbing frames, chair & sofa & radiator beds fasten to side of pen
I'd love to have cats again. It just wouldn't be fair though, as there are so many birds visiting the garden. I once had a killing-machine called Mabel, a tabby. We had a disused greenhouse in the garden - went in one day to find it littered with the corpses of birds, ranging from sparrows to ducks. Yet she was fine with our budgie and hamster and next door's guinea pigs. Comet, Billy Bob and Rosiemay are beautiful. Billy Bob is my favourite!
I've got 2, Chilli a ginger male aged 8 and Domino a huge black and white male aged 16. Chilli is out and about in all weathers and likes to roam but Domino only goes outside if I take him out and has never left the garden. I've been thinking of building him a run so that he at least gets some fresh air during the day, I'd bring him in every night. I don't know why he's stopped going out, there is nothing wrong with him, he's definitely not scared of going past the dogs as he mixes with them freely indoors he just never ventures past the back doors any more.
Lovely cats Tina, and nice to see cat lovers here We are actually moving Catsey.com into PetForums.co (yep, just .co) at some point
