Thought would post some pics of my GSD Jazz she was the mother of some pups a lady gifted to our rescue and I knew when I went to get pups I wanted Mum and 4 weeks latershe handed her in. Misty my current foster she is a Belgium Shepherd and the best foster I have ever had Misty has a dodgy ear
Misty the Belgium is the best by a mile foster dog I have ever had, we had a few tiffs with my female ridge but all sorted now. If I had room wouldnt hesitate in keeping her she is amazing. I have 1 Inuit, 1 Ridge x, 1 GSD and 1 Belgium and all amazing together really get on. Misty lives for her ball she is amazing if she drops the ball at your feet and you say to far she picks up and brings closer. Misty
Love your new dog and the Belgium looks fab too. Well done to you for taking in these dogs ...they look so happy x
She looks so young to have had a litter! My GSDs all love swimming in the sea too. Lovely dogs. This my first girlie... I got her in 1973 (when I was expecting my first child) - free to a good home as owners didn`t want her. The best dog I`ve ever had.
Can defo see why you fell for the GSD. I love the Belgium Shepherd too, I hope you find a home soon;-)
Love your GSD and the gorgeous Belgian Shep. I don't think you will have a problem finding her a new home.
Aww Jazz is gorgeous! I can see why you fell for her GSD's are definately wimps, seren is teething at the moment and all she does when she's chewing things is whine..its sad but funny aswell..such a drama queen. My first gsd was called foxy who we sadly had to rehome due to terrible financial problems at the time her mum is called jazz, and jazz is seren's grandmother seren is our first GSD for 4 years this is foxy( she was a bundle of red fur when we got her at 8 weeks and this is seren at 4.5 months, foxy's neice
Great - Hope Misty will be very happy in her new home. My first GSD (that was really mine) lived and was bought by my grandparents wehen I was about 2/3 years old. Her name was Bess and she went EVERYWHERE with me. She sparked my love for GSDs. I used to have rides on her back and my Dad has a photo somewhere of me about to sit on her for a ride, but she was sitting down posing for the photo at the time. The photo that I'l get scanned and postit was taken about 6 months (so I'm told 'cos I can't remember that far back) before she died. My Grandad woke up one morning to find her out in the back garden slamming her head against the wall. every time he went near her she tried to bite him and continued to hit her head against the bricks. Nobody could get near her. We found out later that she'd had a brain haemorrage. I suppose this is a stroke in today's terms but it must have been awful for her to be in that much pain and not be able to deal with it. I also felt for my Grandad who had to find her. Fortunately they're both together now. (RIP Gramps & Bess ) I'll speak to my Dad tomorrow and see if he can find the picture I mentioned. Laura xx
This is a great thread. All the dogs posted are lovely. kcjack, your Jazz is very pretty, and Moobli, I love the shot of Sharna lying down. That's great that Misty found her forever home - good luck girl!
