Hey, I recently adopted a one year old pup. It is almost certain she is part lab, she has a water resistant undercoat, love for water, mouthing and simply looks like a lab. But I'm not sure what else could be in her. I'm thinking German shepherd...a possibility of border collie.(though I don't find BC likely.) She is black, and upon closer examination his dusted with brown on the back half of her torso and upper hind legs. She has a white splotch on her chest and her some of her paws are speckled white as a graying dog's face does. Her front legs are VERY thick. The torso gets slim towards her rear and wide to the front. Very big paws. Long pointy nose that is barely lower than her forehead. Triangle lopping ears. As well as water and such, she likes sitting on dogs and leaning them into walls....and tripping them with her teeth. Heres a picture:
i`d hazard a guess that maybe she isn`t lab at all, maybe she`s retriever ? crossed with a german shepherd.
