Would like to inform all Inuit owners & also those with other breeds Akna K9 Academy & Dogs On Top are holding a Fun Xmas Dog Event Sat 20th Dec 2008. This will include many dog related demonstrations (see showing section of forum under Xmas Dog Event for more details). Thought this would be found easier here as part of the days events are to include an Inuit Dog Show held under KC Companion Dog Show Rules. This show has been fully sponsered by the British Inuit Dog Club but is open to all Inuits whether British, Northern, TIDA dare i say the other word T*******! This event has been organised for 5 Leicester charities to benefit from & with the fun & love of our dogs in mind. Oh and the weather is usually crap in Dec so gives us all something to look forward too! Before you ask it is an indoor event held within 2 large equestrian arenas, hard car parking & free entry to venue. :mini:

Only 89 miles away and your right Dec is normally a crap month with nothing going on other then Xmas.

Will mark it in the calander . . .

Are you going to have bouncers to keep an eye on everyone though? May be a rumble with all the different groups under one rof LOL (i'm joking of course)

Bouncers now theres a thought!!! Im hoping the owners can all behave themselves i have all faith in the dogs! The 5charities are Redgate Farm Animal Sanctuary, PDSA, White Lodge (Retired Greyhound Trust), Leicester Animal Aid & East Midlands Dog Rescue. All of these charities dont just take on dogs & receive no funding other than through donations or people like us with the events. A member of each of the charities will be there on the day & all 5 charities with receive an equal split of money taken after the venue costs have been settled. There is not an event like this in Leicestershire & with it being indoors it doesnt matter what the weather does outside! I just want people to come along have fun with their dogs & hopefully go away telling everyone that didnt go what a great day it was.
