Molly had a bit of a traumatic journey over from Romania. What should have taken 3 days took 5 days as someone maliciously reported the transport to the German police as carrying dogs illegally. After the paperwork passing both the police and customs inspection it was decided that all of the dogs had to be checked by a vet before they could carry on their journey. As it was night and a vet couldn't look at them for at least 10 hours they were all put into pens at an animal rescue centre, the transport drivers insisted on sleeping on the floor of the waiting room so that they could keep an eye on them all! The good news is that all of the dogs passed all of the tests so we're allowed to continue their journey and so Molly arrived on Monday. She is a little live wire and is very small (5kg and is fully grown) but she loves mud, water, woods and bushes and happily keeps up with the larger dogs. She settled in so well already it's like she has always lived here.
She looks so contented, and is much smaller than she looked on the earlier picture. I hope she has a long and happy life with you.
I have just had a look back at the previous photo in 'New Puppy'. I could be wrong, but Molly looks like a Cavalier cross to me. Crossed with what? You've got me there!
I think that there could possibly be some chihuahua in her mix Carole but who knows? She is very dainty. Could be Cavalier too but I suspect that there are multiple breeds mixed together. She's about a year old so she won't grow anymore now.
Hi, they've guessed at around 12 months which I think is about right. She is extremely small, there could be some Cav in there but to be honest experience tells me that she is probably a mix of many breeds.
