Here he is Brought him home on Sunday and have been amazed at how good he has been so far. We realise he could be fooling us though Butter wouldn't melt He was born on the 8th April so just over 8 weeks. Bijou
Oh very cute!!! I have one coming to training at the moment (now just 6 months) and he is Fab!! Have fun with yours
Thank you every one. Yes we think he could look too cute. Trying very hard not to be taken in by the big eyes. Already booked in for puppy training classes at the end of July ready for when he can go out and about. We'll probably be shown up then hehe. Bijou
Hi Anne-Marie He is from the Brandoux kennel - Alan and Kerry Bates. They have some wonderful dogs. Marvin is being such a good boy we are head over heels. Bijou
From his breeding he should definitely be good enough! Don't think I am though. Used to show my old basset 15 years ago but unfortunately the body isn't so able any more. Went to WELKS to see lots of frenchies in action so to speak before we brought him home and had forgotten how good the atmosphere could be. Trouble is I'm now not that good in crowds of people on a regular basis so will prob just keep watching from afar. Bijou
I only got to one (my first) Champ show with Lola last yr, really enjoyed even though we didn't get anywhere and I was a bag of nerves!! I recently cancelled my Take That tickets in order for me to go to Blackpool Champ show, even paid a late online entry fee to get booked and what's happened? Lola seems like she's coming into season!! If you think he's good enough and you'd both enjoy it, why not give it a bash again? It's not like you have to zoom around the ring with a Frenchie at least! Bet you'd be in the swing of it in no time, especially as you used to show Bassets. He's a babe, looking forward to seeing pics of him growing up.
Just had a quick search through the forums to find some piccies of Lola aaawww she's beautiful. Didn't realise she was a brindle too What kennel is she from? It's amazing how nervous you can get before entering the show ring. Why does 1 roped off rectangle of grass hold so much fear Bijou
Aww ta She's from Annie Jenkins' Feniton kennel. She's our first Frenchie and we love her to pieces, she's such a massive character. You're so right about the nervousness and going in the ring - it's daft really isn't it? I mean it's not like the judge will beat you up or anything, but sometimes I feel sick before I go in the ring!
