Well I was not going to post this til after all the events have been done, and I had possibly gotten hold of some pictures, but... we were contacted by an agency that deals with the organizing of events for local councils and invited to do "appearances" at the events they have planned for christmas, we have 3 events to do, one In Wythenshaw town center(did that saturday) and another two in the north of Manchester. saturday we arrived in the Wythenshaw shopping center, and had a special area fenced off where we sat and met the public as Santas huskies resting before christmas, there was a large sled for children to go on and have pictures taken, and they could meet our dogs, we met the Mayor of the Town and also a young terminally ill young girl Kirsty Howard who raises money for charity, the press were there and the dogs had their photos taken with the Mayor and Kirsty all sat in the sled, the dogs must have sensed Kirsty was not a well girl as they were soooooooo gentle with her and a picture was taken of willow and savannah kissing her face. the Mayor said our dogs were outstanding, and they went down great with the public, I have to try and get hold of the photographer from Manchester Evening News to see if I can get copies of the photos, and the other photographers too. if the story runs it will be in this paper some time up to christmas. the next event is on thursday where my dogs are to attend the switch on of the lights, they will hopefully have a snow blowing maching, choc fountain, Santa possibly the Mayor again a large igloo where santa will sit and a sled for my dogs to sit near, once again my dogs will be fenced off so as to revent other dogs coming up to them, I am only there for an hour, then on the 8th we are at another event, where they are switching on the lights in the village, all the same more or less as the previous one, but this time I am there for two hours, its a great chance for making a good impression regarding malamutes, and I am so pleased up to now how the dogs have behaved. as soon as I manage to get pics I will post them. Heres one of the pics. http://m.gmgrd.co.uk/res/32.$plit/C_7...%2016:21:24:873 this is the article the pic of Willow is in the section where you look at the album http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/new...le_at_christmas this is the picture in the article Mo
