The luxuries I miss most are : Being able to wear my favourite colour ... black.... without my clothes being covered in cream coloured dogs hairs. Being able to wear tights without a dog or a cat laddering them. Being able to eat a sandwich without having to share it with one or both of my four leggeds. Being able to turn over in bed without waking Sashicat who insists on sleeping on my legs at night.
The luxuries I miss most are: [Malka thinks carefully...] Actually Pereg is, for me, better than any luxury.
Being able to go out without having to search for a matching pair of shoes. And then, when I come home, not having to search for my slippers. Being able to leave food unattended on the kitchen worktop (are you listening, Pepe?)
Oh 'eck - my son [#2 offspring] was OK but even though it is a very long time ago I well remember having to go to the loo with daughter [#1] [sort of] perched on my hip!
Don't feel like I'm missing out on any little luxuries, but would be nice sometimes NOT to find a poo bag in every coat pocket, or to discover they've gone through the wash in the pocket of my jeans! Oh, and it would be nice to still have a fully functioning pocket in my expensive musto snug fleece (Millie!!!!)
Well.... ...it would be nice to have an unbroken night's sleep without Da Dawg wanting to go out for a p and/or p... ...and it would be nice if I could bin all the alarm clocks necessary for her... Nah - who needs luxuries when they have Pereg!
I only have carpets in living room and bedrooms the rest is tiles (when you open doors it floats like a snowstorm ) but i could not live without my Hoover they constantly shed and it gets everywhere, on the sofa, chairs, every nook and cranny
I know what you mean regarding the hoover. I use mine so often, it tends to get left in the hall. Could say the same for my mop & bucket too!
If it was not for the fact that the stone tiles in my salon are so stained [it is a rather ancient bungalow] I would not have a carpet on it. Not a full carpet though. The only other room to have a carpet [which also is not a full one] is my bedroom, on the side I get in and out of bed. [and which Pereg crashes on when The Monster visits during the night.]
