Lupin went back home to Wales with Lisa today After having him for 6 months I did get quite attatched to the daft buggar He had a vet check on Tuesday and was given a clean bill of health and was frontlined and wormed the same day. He was chuffed to bits to see his mum again, which made things a little better. He gave me a quick look before trotting off with her. There was a few tears, but I've done my bit, it was time to say my goodbye's to him The house seems really quiet without him bounding around :-(
Oh Sweetie! :-( I can imagine how you are feeling; that would tear me apart. Aww but you did a wonderful thing, taking him in like that and giving him a wonderful home, so take pride in that. Oh Corrie - BIG HUGS coming your way. What you have done was brilliant but sooooooooo painful, I understand. xxxxx
It's awful at the moment Linda, Luca keeps walking around looking for him :-( They bonded so well, she can't understand why he isn't here :-( :-( That's the bit that hurts the most :-(
I'd be in shreds, Corrie. It was a lovely thing that you did, but the parting is so difficult Hugs honey x0x
Luca will come round, well done for looking after Lupin, maybe you'll need to get another wee one for Luca.
It's never normally bothered me this much in the past Vicki, but Lupe is such a character, it's hard not to become attached to him :-(
I went to Manchester without OH's permission and brought home an English Bull Terrier, the night I brought her in all wrapped in a blanket he fell in love lol
Anyone who takes in a dog in need does an amazing thing, be it 6 months or forever Some get under your skin more than most :-( I enjoyed my time with Lupe (well most of the time )
My OH is like a the North pole :-( If I thought I could get away with it, I'd bring home N.I pup. I have told him that I will have another N.I, and he won't stop me ;-)
Awww Corrie, poor you and poor Luca, but you did the greates thing with him. I took in my old girl Timber as a rescue.she had loads of problems at the start but has been great for years now. I'm sure Lupin will settle in fine in his new home but you really need something to fill that empty hole lol
wolfie what you done for lisa and lupin has been fantastic.keep on at your old man, theres sure to be a mahlek puppy with your name on in the future.
I've already told him Julie that I WILL have another N.I, and he won't stop me ;-) and you already know that it would HAVE to be another Mahlek ;-) (I know what they're like )
Awww, I do feel for you - hard enough letting 7-8 week old pups fly the nest, but so long. Good on you for what you did with Lupin. You're braver than me, I wouldn't be able to give one back, lol! Smallest payback would be a pup of your own, good luck!
