As some of you will know my 6 JRT's did a photo/video shoot on Tuesday 16/09/14. They were being videoed & photographed for variety of dog food & was modelling harnesses, collars, clothes, for lots of different manufacturers Trixie being one of them. I received a lovely thank you email from Trixie they asked me to send them the measurements for each of my 6 dogs as they would like to send me 6 new designed touring harness in the colours of my choice for each of my 6 dogs. Here are just a few other things they have said in email: We here at Trixie are delighted with the photo's of your 6 Jack Russell Terriers, modelling our clothes, harnesses & collars. Our designers are now looking at improving the entire range of harness & clothing, after we saw each of your 6 dogs was different from the breed specifications in height, weight, length & chest/girth measurements. Our designers have always worked within each breed specification & now we now know that not all dogs of the same breed are the same in height, weight, length & chest/girth measurements, with this in mind our clothing/harness designers will start making clothes longer/shorter in lengths & our harness bigger/smaller in girth/straps, so owners will be able to buy clothes that will fit their dogs perfectly. We will be using the photo's your dogs to promote our entire range of harnesses, collars, clothes. Its very nice when a big company like Trixie acknowledge you & your dog the email did bring a tear or 2 why I was reading it, so I have printed email off am going to have it framed & going to hang it on wall of my home office.
Aww - how lovely of them Tina! But then with such gorgeous dogs as yours, no wonder they were so impressed with how they modeled their products!
Should get my photo's in 10 days as I have decided to have all 120 (16 are free on disc) other 104 I have paid for & are 5 x 7 prints
Lovely email - and good to know that they are trying to make changes to make changes to their sizing to help owners find the perfect fit.
