    Louie sitting..

So all the trouble we've had getting him to sit with the dummy - here is the proof :D still no front or straight retrieve but we're still learning ;)

    "Look - I can sit"

It's in there - he's still holding it!

But he still thinks walking around with it is better

"Alright - I'll sit for your bloomin' picture!"

Orange dummy didn't work so well:

None of the above are posed - they were retrieves..

Look at the expression in his eyes in the 4th picture - "have you quite finished Mom?"!

Lol - yes.. I know, doesn't look too happy does he

I've took the tights off so he just had the wings and the dummy - he tried to take them off (piddle - lol) once and then he was fine after a few throws (this was tonight)

NOOOOO - he won't do it at class!

I want to do some outside work in the paddock.. but I can see it being a bit of a problem with Louie's fixation on Alfie - who is the same cross as him would you believe? and the dobe and lab..

Look, we've got to impress Rory Major in a couple of weeks, Flynn is descended from his lines on the GWP side, so we need all the practice we can get.

Paddock time might be over, light starts fading at 7pm. I was training on the park until 8pm the other night and it was pitch black! I had a sudden rush of motivation, packed cones, poles, weaves etc into the car, drove to the park and trained!

Lol yup, OK you can ask to do retrieves - but I will not be happy  - maybe we could do some cold game there  might need to disinfect the floor afterwards... and Louie can't be as bad as the others.. as long as Alfie doesn't turn up - we're OK!

I've heard and read such alot about Rory and I really admire his achievements so having an opportunity to train with him gives me something to greatly look forward to.

He's running a mock shootover training day and it's a chance for me to find out where Flynn is at generally in his training. We've done alot of retrieving but never much 'proper' hunting and certainly only minimal training with shots so i'm interested to know how he will fair when the whole lot comes together!
