Saw this on the news,obviously still very sad, a dog has died regardless of where, hopefully it'll draw a line under all the Crufts backlash.

Though the question remains as to who laced the meat with an illegal substance.

And how did they get hold of pesticides which are no longer approved for use in the EU?

It's always possible that whoever poisoned the dog had bought the pesticides before they were longer approved. When I moved into this house, even though it hadn't been lived in for 7 years, the previous owners has left behind all kinds of things ... old tins of paint, medicine, syringes, old bottles, clothes, shoes etc in the storehouse which we had to dispose of.
