    I'm in love with lowgan.

Just "browsing", am not really sure what my plans are....I feel the 'need' for another GSD now, but its planning it around Ripley's litter (and potential collie pup staying). I dont want to end up with two youngsters so close in age...

Lowgan is pretty blooming gorgeous too! I can understand your reluctance to have two youngsters though - esp of such high energy breeds

Kesyra have an EXCELLENT reputation and some pretty gorgeous dogs too.

Have you gone off the idea of a working line?

Not gone off...but trying to be realistic and thinking that I might be better waiting until my son is older before getting a dog with higher needs from working lines.

I do understand what you are saying, as I keep having the same dilemma!

From what research I have done so far, I believe that if you get the right lines then you can have a well balanced, biddable working line dog that is as happy to live in a busy active
household as a showline dog - so long as they are given enough to do and time spent with them - much like any GSD.

Both around the same £. I much prefer the Working lines, especially for the character & look

Oh yes, he is gorgeous! I love his colouring. The well bred showline dogs always seem to have the most wonderful heads on their dogs. He is no exception. Stunning.
