I bought a big box of "junk" (used teddies, used balls, babies toys) off eBay for just £2.99p (99p p&p) in it was 5 rugby balls, 3 leather footballs, 27 teddies, 15 talking baby toys & a vibrating ball. I sterilizing & washing everything then I gave Zeus, Dottie, Kobi & Ziva couple teddies & a talking toy each Skye grabbed 6 teddies, K9 wanted all the balls then he spotted the vibrating ball & that was it never saw him for 3 hours until batteries were dead. We replace the batteries & took photos & video of him playing (video is on Facebook) here are some of the photo's of K9 & his vibrating ball.
You certainly got your money's worth! My lot have loads of (fairly expensive!) toys, but all Pepe is interested in is a half-chewed yellow plastic ball which he found in the hedge of our garden (probably belonged to the dogs of the previous owner). He is always either carrying it around or sitting and gazing at it. I imagine the vibrating ball would be a great hit with Chico.
Looks good Tina - just be careful of cheap n cheerful toys tho, especially if they are made in China. Their chews should be avoided as well as toxic chemicals have been found in them.
I do check to see if they have the kite or CE mark plus the ISO numbers, if not I give to my nephew's brats to play with. I often buy "junk" or "carboot" boxes on eBay, I once found a Irish silver cup spoon in one of the "carboot" boxes, I only paid £1.50 for box plus 99p&p I got the cup spoon valued, it had a auction guide price of between £180 - £250.
Mine had something similar, soon as it made a noise 'wimpy Heiko' wouldnt go near it same with squeaky toys, whereas Kyra loves them.
Aw those are lovely photos and pooch is certainly enjoying playing with that vibrating ball Thanks for sharing
