Copper was put to sleep in mid December 2017. Not a day goes by I don't think about him. He was such a gentle, loving soul. Jager has brought us joy and laughter but will never take the place of our dear Copper. One of his last bows...
Copper was lovely and that is a lovely play bow to remember him. Jager is not a replacement for Copper, but he will grow into your heart just as Copper did, and I am sure that one day you will think "oh, that is what/how Copper did this that or t'other". No dog can ever replace that special one in your heart, but your heart will expand to love Jager as it did, and still does, Copper. xxx
You can never replace a dog that you loved. What you can do is give another dog your love. Just as we love each family member differently and could never replace them, it's just the same with our four legged friends
