It looks like it has been snowing in my salon

I took a pack of tissues and a pack of cotton wool from the store cupboard in the shower room and put them on the washing machine in the hallway, intending to take them into the ensuite next time I went through into my bedroom. In the meantime I went into the kitchen to replenish my coffee.

Pereg is not called Da Booga for nothing - she got them both down, tore them open, and decided to have a bit of fun with the contents.

She is now free to anyone who is prepared to put up with a nutty mutt! :D

What a naughty Pereg, but she would say that she is just showing a bit of character.
Ed did much the same with his Christmas dinosaur yesterday - supposed to be a tuff toy, but he just had to get that squeaky thing out. Silly Tweed just sat there trying to eat the stuffing!

This is all too familiar to me! Even the toughest toys are no match for Chico's sharp little teeth, and it never ceases to amaze me how much stuffing a tiny toy can have.

And he picks pockets and handbags for tissues!

I currently have one monkey and two dinosaurs waiting for reconstructive surgery - Pereg does not destroy them as such but plays with them by throwing them all over the place then chasing after them until seams split - so I collect all the stuffing [not much] and when I am in the mood I re-stuff her toys and suture the surgical site! :D

Only one toy was completely de-stuffed and that was, I think, because she did not like it.

Xanadu has a small bag on one of his sides so when I go across to the macolet I put my mobile, my keys, and always keep a bunch of tissues in it. If I forget to zip it up when I get home a certain nose digs in it to fish out the tissues.

She also knows that I put some tissues under my pillow before I go to bed so any chance she has of getting into the bedroom during the day she will pull the duvet down and dig under my pillow to get them.

What she has yet to realise is that since I caught her doing it I remove the tissues every morning when I get up! :D

So far she has not tumbled to the fact that she could, if she wanted, reach the loo rolls in both loos! :043:

Ladies you make my 6 doggies seem like angels, they don't destroy inside toys, only outdoor one's (footballs & tuggy toys)
Tissues nah they just sniff them then walk off, have boxes of them all over house, which the dogs can get to.

Pereg eats tissues if she can get hold of any - I think she had tried a bit of cotton wool but spat it out as there was a wet bit but I nearly had to fight her for the tissues, many of which were shredded.

Luckily I have one of these...

otherwise I would never have managed to get the cotton wool off the carpet - unless I had wanted to block up my vacuum cleaner.

I get dog hairs [and dust] off my [fabric] recliner and couch by donning a surgical glove and whooshing along them. Then when I get to the end I turn the glove - complete with dog hairs [and dust] inside out and chuck it in the bin! :D

I find a slightly damp sponge works well.

I have to work round 6 dogs lifting each paw up to brush the fur off the sofa/chairs under their paws.
One is not allowed to disturb them why they are sleeping, otherwise one gets sighed at, but lifting ones paws is ok.
