Hi - having seen talk on lots of forums about Lurchers and the different breeds that go into them... I wanted to post a few pics of Puffin and ask if anyone can help me work out what type of x she is (she's a rescue dog so I don't know her parentage) but she definitely has greyhound or whippet (or both) in her. Just wondering about Saluki or anything else... just thought it best to check if this was the right forum to post on first.
Oh she is gorgeous My guess (not that I know much ) is Greyhound x Deerhound or Irish wolfhound. But then I thought I could see Collie in her face :? It's a mystery isn't it but she is just so lovely.
WOW!!! She is utterly gorgeous!!!! I have had two lurchers in my lifetime, now both sadly gone over the bridge, I so love them!!! I would say greyhound, wolfhound or deerhound with a touch of collie. She looks a little big for whippet IMO. But whatever Puffin has in there, she has certainly fell on her feet with you!! Simply beautiful!!!!
