Hi guys; just putting this on here for my own inquisitiveness really! Here's a couple of pics of our gorgeous staffy who's 12 months and from a rescue; just wanted to know if anyone thought she was a cross or not? Also; I know she's leggy currently when can we expect her to fill out?
Welcome to Breedia. I'm not a Staffie owner, but she looks lovely to me. I'm sure she will develop more, but I rather like bitches to have a feminine look. Well done on giving her a second chance. I'm sure the BB experts will be along soon.
Thanks for the reply I was just curious really; to me, she seems very staffy dominated at least, although she hasn't really grown outward as yet she's still only really a pup! The vets don't think she's a cross when we had her neutered but the rescue centre said they weren't sure whether she was or not, regardless she is another fine example of why staffies shouldn't get such bad press; likes dogs, surprisingly cats and of course anyone who fusses over her
What a beautiful dog she is! I've no experience of Staffies but she looks a 'real' one to me - certainly if I'd bought her as a Staffie pup I'd have been more than happy with the way she's turned out! I'm sure she's mostly Staffie at the very least!
Always hard to say, she might be a cross but she could be pure too. Some Staffy are pure bred but a little leggier or narrow. They are a popular breed so crossing happens to and sometimes people breed a cross back to a Staff and still call the resulting litter Staffs. She will probably fill out a little, at 12 months she's still growing. She gorgeous and brindle is my favorite.
Probably just a Staffy that isn't to standard. She is beautiful, I much prefer an athletic Staffy to the show standard.
