David, my driver, and I took Tikva to the Pension this morning and the dog who I had thought was a BSD was there. Only even though Eviyatar says it is a BSD I do not think it is. Wrong colouring but that is not my problem. The tiddler Tikva went for it, and it flew away as fast as it could. And Eviyatar could not stop laughing because Tikki frightened this huge hunk of a ....what?? He says it is a BSD but then his previous dog, who did look like it, he said was a CVS and I had my doubts about that. Little tiddler Tikki went straight for the toys, well she would. Then had a sniff around chomples, and came home happy with two new toys - with squeaks, and a couple of boxes of her favourite bikkies. One thing - the most important - I managed to find a thing which clips onto her harness and then onto the thing where a seatbelt fits. So she is perfectly safe in the car.
Naughty Tikva, let's hope she doesn't challenge a bolder one next time! Was it a BSD or not? They do come in four varieties, differing only by coat colour and texture, so it is possible. My personal favourite is the Lakenois, but there are so very few puppies bred that you only see a handful at shows. My girl had a naughty day today too. She has been doing soooo well at walkies without a lead - I had actually said yesterday that she was better at staying with us than Eddie. However, today she happened on a tempting trail, and discovered the disused golf course! As the council hope to be able sell it at some time in the future, the greens are mowed 3 or 4 times a year, so it isn't a jungle, but it is extensive, lush, and hilly! By the time I had retraced my steps to get access, and climbed up to the fairway, she had done all her naughtiness and been tempted back to rejoin Chas and Ed. Needless to say, she is not exactly Mum's Best Girl today!
@Carole - much a I was not 100% sure about the CSV I am not 100% sure about this BSD - there is something about his colouring but hey hoh he is a pet. And he was terrified of little Tikva! Oh, I have now had yet another rat in my bedroom, cotched on a humungous sticky wooden pad so am rather piddled orf at the moment. I am just so frightened that one will hurt Tikki.
Right - much as I hate to to it I deaded it and Eviyatar will bring me some more icky sticky them things tomorrow. Not the sticky pads that I can get from the macolet but real big wooden sticky things. I have stopped feeling guilty about deading the the things but I do not want rats in my bedroom, especially as they are on the chest of drawers above Tikki's crate.
I have just read your Ugh and cannot stop laughing although I know it is not funny. Meecicles I coped with but RATS?. I will not tell you how I deaded it as I do not want to know what I did. However... ...little pishkle, I mean small Tikki, - David let out of the taxi and she went trot trot into the big store, no leash - just loose, and when it was time to come home she went trot trot back to his taxi. Did I ever say she is a strange puppy? Yes I am sure I did, more than a few times, but she really is a sweet little girl, and if you had seen her running loose both outside, inside the huge store, and then outside again, you would understand what a strange little puppy she is. And I love her.
