Here she is yesterday sleeping comfortably :? She went to be spayed today and wandered off with the vet nurse without a second glance I rang about 4.30 and they said she is still wobbly and we can go get her at 6pm, poor baby will be a sad puppy tonight
Ahhh bless she looks so comfy there even in such a twisted position. I hope she's okay tonight, its the guilt you feel for them, all for the best but hard on both of you.
Our NI sleeps in a similar position - they seem to like the twisted position. She will be fine - just stop her licking the stitches for a few days - easier said than done. I think the wound is quite small nowadays.
After a very long sleep she is back to her normal daft self The wound is very small and she has three staples vet thought these would be a good idea as she is sooo bouncy. She doesn't seem to be bothering with it much yet just hope she can leave it alone for long enough.
My Luca sometimes sleeps in this position too, and she seems to be very comfortable too :? Isn't it amazing how quick they seem to 'bounce back' :?
It seems to be a common thing with NI bitches that they like to sleep in strange posititions, our bitch sleeps on her back with her paws in the air!
Oh she is fully recovered now Just a little bald still but apart from that she is back to her ever bouncy self
