I'm so sorry Malka - certainly not laughing - you must be feeling very fragile.
Take it easy, and get well soon.

I just have to remember not to cough or sneeze or laugh. The first two difficult as I have a cold..

And it was the puppy's fault as we were outside. And someone saw me and stopped to hoik me me up. Well I thought I was going to catch on her tether so stopped and fell off. So he unhooked her tether, took her in and shut the booger in her crate.

Rather embarrassing as I had to press my button as ouch ouch ouch then the 'orstible said why did I have a black eye. Ah yes, well I fell over the puppy a week or so back. Puppy? What puppy?

Problem - my records show that I fell over my epi girl a couple of years ago. Or whenever. Which was when I had to have 20 stitches around my eye. Whenever. Oh no, said they - fine said I. It is in your records.

Sheeeit. Xrays for ribs and oh while you are here your eye looks not good so upsedairs we go for a CT scan.

    Booger.

Oh, they said, you have a fractured eye socket. Again? So?

Oh and they said you have a fractured cheekbone. Again? So?

What do they expect me to do? Wrap myself in that whotsit bubblewrap stuff in ?

I refuse to be treated like a feeble useless person. I am me and if I fall so I fall, and so bdooly what.

Always useful to have a dog to blame things on!

I am fine - mainly it is my ribs that hurt and oh do they hurt. Weeeeelllll a few other places but who cares. I am well used to it by now. Cracked ribs I could do without though as they OUCH.

And I still blame the puppy.

You could be right. Have not slept much.

Only about a couple of dozen times. Multiplied by I would rather not know.

I 'liked' but shouldn't have really.

I got the xxxx kicked out of me many years ago. Brocken nose / two black shut eyes that needed popping to reduce the swelling / stitches here and there from a bottle and (getting to the point) bust ribs from a kicking.

It's the ribs I remember - took till about the third day after hospital to feel much I'll always remember my first sneeze lol

@Phil - having going flying of my Lambretta 175 and ending up way up the road a couple of times rather a long time..ago - I was stopped in the middle of a road to turn right [this was in England] and was hit by a drunk police officer. I mean a major one.

Second time it was pishing rain and some idiot did not see me so I dropped my Lambretta and flew. up the road

Having broken my nose ... a few times... [not from the Lambretta accidents broke other things...and having broken ribs due to coughing lung infection]

I guess I should be used to this - Cannot sleep because of the ouchies but it will be OK.. Only not the mini monsterr puppy can, somehow, get out of her crate and leap onto my very high bed...

Whether I will reach my 74th birthday next month is debatable..
