I have just discovered that my

    Television is dead.

Somewhere, probably on the refrigerator, is the umm, wotsit, thingy wots will repair it? I think. Better go and check and then call them tomorrow.

Problem. If that is not them, who is it on the refrigerator? And if it is not them, where on earth do I find them?

Or I just give in and get a new television which I will probably only watch one in a blue moon?

I have only watched this one [think it is a 32" one] twice? And I hated it as it is a wide screen one which looks like an hephalump has sat on it.

Or... I could do my usual and and ask Nir to buy me a new one for me.

Question is, do I really want a television?

Hokay, it that wotsit on the refrigerator is a repair thing and if it will only cost peanuts, I guess I will call them to fix it. If they are still working.

    Or I will ask Nir?

Or - who needs a television in any case?

Without knowing what is on in Israel, I can't really say, but I did enjoy the London Horse Show on our Red Button this week. Valegro's retirement performance was magic, and I had to tear myself away at 2 am when the show was on all night. I could do without all the family friendly stuff that we are likely to get for the next couple of weeks though.

Carole - we used to get BBC Prime, or whatever it was called, but for the last few years there was nothing worth watching. No "Red Button" these days - nothing worth watching unless five year old EastEnders is your thing.

Yes, I guess I will get my television fixed - maybe. Maybe not. Well yes, it is not worth not being fixed. I mean why chuck away a fixable television set? I rarely watched Israel television as I could see English evening news on the computer plus I get English news maybe three times a day. And all UK and international news as it when comes in.

But I would have liked to have seen the Horse Show - it is things like that that I miss. I have been away so long now.
