Hey all! Snickers here barking that I hope all has been well and everyone is staying safe and healthy!!! Lots of scary things going on right now, but mommy says we have to stay something called “optamizdik”??? about the future. I guess I will never understand humans and their big words!!! Well, not gonna lie: Being a big hungry sneaker monster has proven very difficult during all this cold winter weather. Most of my human family and friends are boot people this time of year! I have had to go “cold turkey” these last months and I am going nutso!!! Well, all of that changed this morning!!! Mommy left for a trip today, and Aunty is watching me for the whole week. I was upstairs napping when she arrived, and I got up and got ready to greet her. At that moment, a heavenly scent grabbed my nose and I instantly knew what it was. I rushed downstairs and almost knocked Aunty right over when I saw them: BRAND NEW NIKE SNEAKERS!!!!! I immediately sniffed and licked them as Aunty fussed over me. She tried to get away, but I had her and her new Nikes trapped: Before Aunty knew it, her Nikes disappeared into my mouth with her feet still in them. I growled and snorted as I chewed on them so hungrily. Mmmmmm, slurp. All that new white leather is sooooo yummy and chewy and just melts in a big frisky sneaker monsters mouth! After a while I had them thoroughly chewed and drowned in lots of warm slimy bubbly doggy slobber. I finally ate them off Aunty’s feet and ran off to enjoy them. I just love the wet squeaking and squishing sounds they make when I sink my toofers into them! So Aunty has only been here for like a couple hours. I hope she brought more delicious Nikes or Reebok sneakers for me to enjoy for the rest of the week! Wish me luck all!!!!!
