Hi there, myself and my daughter are the proud owners of a gorgeous Shar Pei named Coco. She will be 4 this October and has been in good health. About 4 weeks ago we noticed a pink blemish to the left side of her nose (pic 1 attached). She has been eating and drinking as normal and no change to her personality. However in the last few days we have noticed that the blemish is getting bigger and Coco just seems a little more lethargic than usual. A further inspection of her muzzle we noticed another area under her jowles of other similar blemishes (pic 2 attached). We will be phoning the vets when they open tomorrow for an apt but was wondering if other dog owners have experienced something similar with their fur baby. Many thanks in advance
Ask your vet to do a skin scrape and, if possible, pluck a few hairs around the blemishes to test them.
